Аims and purposes of the Competition
The competition is held in order to reveal talented young performers, as well as to expand the framework of cultural cooperation between Armenia and other countries.
Conditions of the competition
The competition is held in one round.
Participants of all nominations perform two works of different character.

Piano
Woodwind instruments
String instruments; guitar
Kanon
Ensemble performances are allowed in the above mentioned categories.
Age groups
A group – till 10 years of age - program duration up to 10 minutes
B group – 11-13 years of age - program duration up to 15 minutes
C group – 14-16 years of age - program duration up to 15 minutes
D group – 17-19 years of age - program duration up to 20 minutes
E group – 20-22 years of age - program duration up to 20 minutes
Prizes
“Kamerton" Cultural NGO defines money prizes for Grand Prix winner(s) in each category
Special prize and presents from “Kamerton" Cultural NGO
Performance with the chamber orchestra of Yerevan state Arno Babajanyan musical-pedagogical college
Participation in concerts in Yerevan and other cities of Armenia
(Dates of the concert will be determined depending on the epidemiological situation in the country)
Master classes by the jury members and honored pedagogues
Certificates of Gratitude to a pedagogues and accompanists of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize winners and Grand Prix winners
Evaluation of performances
Maximum total rating of a participant is 100 points.
Grand Prix - 100 points
1st Prize - from 90 - 99 points
2nd Prize - from 80 - 89 points
3rd Prize - from 70 - 79 points
4th Prize - from 60 - 69 points
5th Prize - from 50 - 59 points
Diploma - from 40 - 49 points
Participants with the lower points will get Participation Certificates.
Diplomas and Certificates will be sent by e-mail.
Videos of the performances of the laureates and Grand Prix winners will be posted on the official website of the competition.
Jury
The jury will include highly qualified specialists, professors of conservatories, famous performers.
The jury’s decision is final and is not subjected.
The jury has the right:
- to divide awards
- to award not all prizes
- not to award Grand Prix
- to award Grand Prix not in every nomination
Conditions of the competition
The order of performances of internal format is determined in alphabetical order.
Auditions of online format participants will be held in accordance with the order of receipt of applications.
Auditions of internal format will be available to everyone.
Foreign participants of internal format are provided with rehearsal rooms and one acoustical rehearsal.
Video requirements
- Before performing, the participant, facing the camera, should announce his/her name, surname, age group, concluding with the words - “For the competition Kamerton-Soloist 2022”
- Face and hands of the participant should be visible in the video
- All the compositions should be performed by memory /no sheet music/
- The video of the competition`s program should be uploaded to Youtube
- Additional audio processing and video editing is not allowed
- The link of the video shoul be attached to the application and sent to solist@kamerton.am
Videos that do not correspond to the above-mentioned requirements are not accepted
Application
The application should include:
- a photo
- video of performance
- scanned birth certificate or other document confirming the identity and age
- scanned payment receipt

To get a visa, foreign participants should contact the embassy or consulate of Armenia in their countries.
Participants pay for their accommodation and road expenses.

A group – till 10 years of age - 10000 AMD
B group – 11-13 years of age - 10000 AMD
C group – 14-16 years of age - 10000 AMD
D group – 17-19 years of age - 15000 AMD
E group – 20-22 years of age - 15000 AMD

B group – 11-13 years of age - 40 EUR

Еnsembles in all categories - 70 EUR
The fee of participation in the additional (second) nomination is 50% of the main entrance fee.
