Classical vocal Jury Members

Kristine Sahakyan /head of the jury/ - mezzo-soprano, RA Honored Artist, Docent of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, laureate of national and international competitions.

She was born in Yerevan, graduated from Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (Vocal Department), and then received postgraduate degree under the guidance of famous Gohar Gasparyan. Since 1998, K. Sahakyan is a leading soloist of the A. Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater. She performed the parts of Parandzem, Almast, Amneris, Azucena, Santuzza and others.
Her repertoire includes Requiems of Mozart, Verdi, Dvorak, “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi and Rossini, “St. Matthew Passion” by Bach etc.
Kristine performed as a soloist with leading Armenian orchestras. She took part in numerous prestigious festivals in Russia, France, Germany, Poland, Lebanon, and Greece. She performed with such famous conductors as V. Spivakov, L. Shambadal, B. Fidetzis, Y. Kochnev, Y. Skibinsky, O. Duryan, E. Topchyan, K. Durgaryan, V. Martirosyan, S. Smbatyan and others.
Since 2002 she has been teaching at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
